🔬 Research Spotlight: CCS Models One of the biggest challenges in Clear Cell Sarcoma (CCS) research has been the lack of strong preclinical models that mimic what happens in real patients, especially for metastatic disease. Models are essential for scientists to ask key questions like: How does this cancer start? Why does it spread? and Can we stop it? Earlier work by Dr. Kevin Jones and colleagues created the first genetically engineered mouse model of CCS by activating the EWSR1–ATF1 fusion.
