Taiji: Today was the first day of the off season for dolphin hunters but we got a grim reminder that Taiji is Ground Zero for the multi million dollar captive dolphin trade and that dolphins are a year round commodity. Six bottlenose dolphins were transferred from a local captive facility to an unknown destination. They were lifted down, dropped into crates and then loaded into large transport trucks. They were left in the crates for over an hour before the trucks headed out to an unknown destin
