Mar 22, 2009 · That's about assuredly a hacked Pokemon. You're pretty spot-on when you say it's rather odd for someone to trade a disgustingly-rare shiny Manaphy to you for something like a Milotic. Those facts alone would raise suspicions, but the things that bothers me is "Egg apparently hatched." I have a Manaphy in Platinum, and it simply says "Egg hatched."

I’m currently hunting Shiny Manaphy as well to see them in BDSP too! 600 Manaphy eggs hatched in different save files so far and no shiny in sight. Aug 22, 2020 · Manaphy straight from Ranger cannot be shiny. However if the egg was traded to another player that could hatch it shiny (think ESV and TSV), it can be. So you won't have the change the PID that PKHeX creates for you, just change the egg met location, TID and SID.
