Zelmo "Big Z" Beaty (/ ˈ b eɪ t iː / BAY-tee; [1] October 25, 1939 – August 27, 2013) was an American basketball player. He played eight seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and four in the rival American Basketball Association (ABA).
