Apr 5, 2019 · Rehoboth Beach was initially a religious seaside resort. In 1873, Reverend Robert Paul, purchased over 400 acres north of the Rehoboth Bay and incorporated a religious society called the “Rehoboth Beach Camp Meeting Association of the Methodist Episcopal Church.”
