Motherboard-CPU-Power Supply brand/wattage. Check the BIOS for an option to disable onboard graphics or set the PCI-e as primary display.

Also the problem still persists when I take out the new video card and I try to use the built in one. Also this problem happened on a whole different computer and different video card with the same problem.

Bought new graphics card, colors look really bad
May 14, 2015 · So without a shadow of a doubt it is some kind of driver issue. 2. Ran the driversweeper in safe mode. Had it to remove all three drivers (ati, intel, nvidia). Then booted back to windows normally. No difference at this point. 3. Installed nvidia graphics drivers. Colors look horrible blurry again.

Just unplug the computer and remove the clock battery for 10 mins. Should at least get your onboard back. As for the card make sure your pci-e slot is set as the primary video output in the bios rather then onboard or auto.
Took Graphics card out, put back in. Now doesn't work!
Dec 14, 2012 · I followed the normal steps for a new graphics card, i.e. disabling the onboard driver and then installing the graphics card and rebooting, but I get no display. In the Bios the default setting is to use the PCI-E display card, the only other option is to use a PCI slot, which I don't have. The cable and monitor are both fine, I have tested them.

Feb 11, 2013 · 19A/+12V is not enough for a PCIE card, so I would suspect the PSU is struggling to power the computer when you have the card plugged in. 19A is ok for onboard/integrated graphics or an AGP card, but PCIE needs approx 28A …

Jul 15, 2008 · If your old and new graphics cards don't work, make sure that your monitor itself isn't burned out. Connect the monitor in question to another machine (laptop, desktop, it doesn't matter) and see if it's working. Alternatively--if you popped in an AGP card, it should default itself as the new video output.
