Oct 26, 2022 · I’d say that’s tank. Pic & lighting may be deceiving tho. Mostly I say tank as i don’t remember sarge green being available during the JK model line, other than on the 75th anniversary edition. I really like the sarge green color. Reminds me of the natural/Jeep green available at the end of the TJ model years & beginning of the JK model line.

I'd love to know that breakdown of JKUR by transmission for these years in this color.

Feb 16, 2016 · Jeep has in the past, released new colors with only a few weeks left in the model year, and yes, those colors continued into the new model year. Personally, I don't understand why Jeep simply didn't wait those weeks and release the new color as part of the changes for the upcoming model year, but Jeep rarely checks with me first.

Dec 5, 2015 · But your question made me think why would Jeep have dropped a popular color like Tank ... and maybe the answer is Jeep wanted a unique color for the 75th, deciding to kill Tank and use Sarge Green, (that seems to be a very close, if not identical color) was the answer to a help begin a successful marketing plan for the Anniversary model.

May 11, 2015 · A Jeep is always fun looking, though, and so the color fits. I have never seen a Jeep with a color that looked old and tired and gave me that "seemed like a good idea at the time" feeling. So, next time I will be brave enough. Go for it.
