Rookie receivers: For a second straight preseason contest, rookie wide receivers TeSlaa and Jackson Meeks caught touchdown passes from veteran quarterback Kyle Allen. Meeks had an 11-yarder late in the first quarter and TeSlaa had an 18-yarder at the end of the first half. Both players have looked great in camp.

After a rough debut, former Longhorns QB Quinn Ewers threw two touchdowns for the Miami Dolphins in his second preseason game.

Dolphins cornerback Ethan Bonner left their preseason game early. Plus, coach Mike McDaniel on Zach Sieler and De’Von Achane injuries.

Two drives later, the Lions responded. Although the Dolphins bottled up the run, key catches from receivers Isaac TeSlaa and Jackson Meeks, the latter of whom hauled in the 11-yard touchdown, allowed the Lions to tie up the game.

The 2025 National Football League (NFL) preseason wraps up Week 2 on Sunday with a doubleheader. We have the Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints meetings at Caesars Superdome in NOLA at 1 p.m.
