NFLPA chief strategy officer J.C. Tretter has resigned from his position and withdrawn himself from consideration for the interim executive direction posisiton.

The NFLPA will be looking for a new chief strategy officer as JC Tretter announces that he is resigning from the role.

Former NFL Players Association president JC Tretter won’t be the union’s next executive director. Instead, the candidate to replace Lloyd Howell, who resigned on Thursday, said he’s leaving the PA “in the coming days.
