Winter weather advisories have been issued for eight New Jersey counties with up to 5 inches of snow in the forecast for yet another winter storm this weekend. The snow Saturday night may not last long as temperatures rise Sunday and most of the state gets soaked by heavy rain.

In the wake of this morning's wintry and wet mess, warmer air is overspreading the region. The result will be areas of patchy dense fog. There could be some cold air trapped in low-lying valleys and that would lead to icy patches developing. Otherwise, partly cloudy and coolish weather awaits us for the remainder of the overnight.
