Netflix’s record-breaking animated hit leads the first wave of Oscar screeners. In a year packed with big-budget blockbusters and long-awaited sequels, one animated film carved out a cultural moment all its own.

Revealed with little fanfare on Fandango, KPop Demon Hunters will pop up in select Regal Theaters on Aug. 23 and 24 for a "sing-a-Long" version. The move follows sing-a-long success stories like last December's Wicked re-release,
