James Webb Space Telescope, supernova
James Webb Space Telescope discovers one of the earliest 'truly gargantuan' supernovas ever seen
The James Webb Space Telescope has spotted one of the earliest and most distant supernovas, marking the death of a stellar monster 20 times the mass of the sun.
Are James Webb Space Telescope images really so colorful?
While large portions of the pillars appear dark red in the Hubble image, the JWST image depicts most of the formation in golden and orange tones. This means that the visual light emitted by the pillars is longer wavelength (red) but a bit closer to the middle of the spectrum of infrared light depicted in the image.
James Webb Space Telescope Detects Supernova From 11.4 Billion Years Ago
The James Webb Space Telescope identified one of the oldest supernovas, AT 2023adsv, revealing early universe phenomena
Powerful Webb Telescope captures photos of one of the earliest supernova ever seen
The James Webb Space Telescope captured photos of one of the earliest supernovas ever seen using infrared technology, and creating a time lapse of the phenomena.
Centuries-old supernova guides James Webb Space Telescope through an interstellar gap
"We think every dense, dusty region that we see, and most of the ones we don't see, look like this on the inside — we just have never been able to look inside them before."
NASA's Roman Space Telescope set to challenge James Webb Space Telescope in 2027; here's how
NASA's Roman Space Telescope, slated for a 2027 launch, will provide insights into dark energy and exoplanets. It will undergo rigorous testing to ens
