Tesla chief executive Elon Musk announced plans on Thursday to expand the company's autonomous robotaxi service and integrate Grok, the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by xAI, into Tesla vehicles starting next week.

This isn't the first time Grok has landed in trouble. Just days before the launch, an automated X account tied to Grok posted antisemitic replies and even referred to itself as “MechaHitler.”

Musk's announcement comes hours after xAI debuted its latest flagship AI model, Grok 4. The 54-year-old discussed the recent innovation during a nearly hour-long livestream shared on xAI's X page, during which he did not mention the chatbot's integration into Tesla vehicles.
