Carson Beck won't be transferring to Texas to replace Arch Manning, but the QB's decision to enter the portal instead of the draft could have a massively positive impact on the future of the Longhorns.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning isn't going anywhere. Though he's been consistent in his desire to stay with the Longhorns, nothing can be taken for granted in the transfer portal era, especially since Manning is a former five-star recruit that has yet to take on a consistent starting role.

The winter transfer portal closed last week, but another one opens up on April 16 for 10 days. Arch Manning knows what he’ll be doing.
