The Pittsburgh Steelers picked a young quarterback in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft as they continue to wait on You Know Who.

Tomlin revealed that the Steelers have had "really productive" discussions with Rodgers during a Saturday appearance on NFL Network. "We feel good about our plan at the position," Tomlin said. There was buzz surrounding Pittsburgh possibly choosing Colorado's Shedeur Sanders leading up to the draft,

Tannenbaum still is not sold that Aaron Rodgers is coming to the Steelers. He calls the four-time MVP a guy who is disinterested’, and if the Steelers can not convince him to come, that is something that would be an indictment on the Steelers, according to Tannenbaum. So, he believes they must have a deal in place.
