The Seattle Seahawks ran roughshod over the Kansas City Chiefs, racking up 268 yards on the ground and 477 overall in a convincing (well, as convincing as preseason can be) 33-16 win on Friday night at Lumen Field.

No Chris Jones, Nick Bolton and Trent McDuffie made a big difference in the Chiefs’ preseason loss at Seattle.

The Seattle Seahawks will host the Kansas City Chiefs in the second week of the NFL preseason on Friday. The Seahawks ended their 2024 campaign 10-7 and returned to the gridiron last week with a 23-23 tie against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Seahawks' first-string offense looked better than anyone could have hoped, in what was likely its only action before the season opener.

At the bottom end of the defensive grades was nose takle Bubba Thomas, who put in 12 snaps and earned a putrid 28.6 overall grade thanks to a 29.6 mark in run defense. Fellow nose tackle Quinton Bohanna (40.9) wasn't far from the bottom either, but they were overshadowed Brandon Pili (80.0), who notched a safety.
