Legendary college basketball announcer Dick Vitale is cancer-free. Vitale announced the news in a video posted on social media, saying the news "brought me to tears" when his doctors said his scan and bloodwork came back clean.

In a video, Vitale shared that he had some bloodwork and tests done on Monday and he finally received his results from Dr. Rick Brown, the Head of Oncology at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Florida. That’s when he heard the words every cancer patient hopes to hear: “You’re cancer-free, baby!”
