President Trump, in a social media post over the weekend, called on the Commanders to “immediately” change the team name back to the Redskins, and said he “may put a restriction” on the stadium deal if ownership does not comply.

The Commanders could soon play their home games in Washington, D.C. after spending nearly three decades across the river in Landover, Maryland, as they continue to work towards constructing a new stadium in the nation's capital.
