NASCAR Chicago Street Race in Grant Park is now just days away, and downtown street closures are ramping up this week in preparation for this weekend's big event. Street closures began just after midnight on June 19 and have continued through last week and into the early part of this week.

If the Chicago street race goes away, Kyle Larson will miss it. He’d take Chicagoland back but also wants to visit new markets and temporary circuits.
