Mickey Moniak defeated the Los Angeles Angels in salary arbitration on Friday when the outfielder was awarded a raise to $2 million instead of the team’s offer of $1.5 million. Melinda Gordon, Samantha Tower and John Woods made the decision one day after listening to arguments.

Even though outfielder Mickey Moniak took a step back in 2024, he will make $2 million in 2025 instead of the $1.5 million that the Los Angeles Angels proposed.

Moniak will be paid $2 million in 2025 after winning his arbitration case against the Angels, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports. The Angels had filed at $1.5 million when figures were exchanged earlier this month.
