Google can now generate a fake AI podcast of your search results
NotebookLM is undoubtedly one of Google's best implementations of generative AI technology, giving you the ability to explore documents and notes with a Gemini AI model. Last year, Google added the ability to generate so-called "audio overviews" of your source material in NotebookLM.
Google Tests AI-Powered Audio Overviews in Search Results for Certain Queries
Based on a screenshot shared by Google, when an eligible user types a search query for which audio conversations are available, they will see an option dubbed “Search Labs | Audio Overviews.” The new box will also feature a basic media player with options for play/pause, volume controls, progress bar, and speeding up the audio.
The Audio Overviews feature makes its way to Google Search, delivering an AI-generated audio clip with two podcast hosts.
