Some sources apparently just want to make a reporter look bad. The Cleveland Browns have no chance of trading for Dak Prescott.

Jarrett Bailey, who also covers the Pittsburgh Steelers for Behind the Steel Curtain, posted what he describes as a “crazy” NFL Mock draft on USA Today’s Touchdown Wire. The point of the mock was to, seemingly, create the most interesting, trade-heavy experience possible.

A rumor is being spread about a potential trade of Dak Prescott to the Browns, but nothing about it makes sense.

A stunning trade rumor involving the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was floated on Wednesday. But just as quickly as it emerged, one NFL insider shut it down. Bruce Dennan of The Bruce Dennan Show said Wednesday that his sources had clued him onto some trade negotiations between the Cowboys and Browns involving Prescott.
