An unprecedented outbreak of tuberculosis across the country last year has now been traced back to the leg bone of a sick, elderly man whose tissue was donated for transplantation after his death.

The FDA and CDC are investigating an outbreak of tuberculosis connected to recalled human bone tissue products, and at least 36 patients across 7 states might be affected.
