Triple H also explained that every major event that Cena appears on, such as programs like the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, or WrestleMania, will absolutely be his last appearance as a competitor at those shows.
Since losing the WWE Championship to the late Bray Wyatt at Elimination Chamber in February 2017, Cena hasn’t held a title of any kind in WWE. That was eight years ago, and it’s about time he held the gold up above his head one more time.
Though his WWE run may be wrapping up as an in-ring contributor, Triple H is correct: John Cena is WWE. After decades of service to the promotion, it's only right that his final year of in-ring action gives him the sendoff he deserves.
