Ames police identified the man on Tuesday as Parker L. Stoneburner, 25, of Boone. They say no arrests have been made, "however tips received continue to be reviewed by investigators."

A 19-year-old has been charged in connection to the shooting death of a Boone man. On the evening of January 18 the Ames Police Department responded to an apartment in the 200 block of South 5th Street in Boone.
