WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Premium Live Event will be historic in more ways than one. For starters, John Cena will make his final appearance at the iconic show hoping to punch his ticket to compete for a record 17th World Title at WrestleMania. Elsewhere, the likes of CM Punk and IYO SKY will chase personal milestones.

After nearly two decades as the face of WWE, Cena will hang it up at the end of 2025. That means he will compete at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania for the final time. There is a chance that he will also compete at SummerSlam as well in August.

Cena cut a well-received promo on Raw's 6 January Netflix debut. At the start of his retirement year in wrestling, Cena ran through his career - from his early spell as OVW's prototype to the present day - then referenced breaking the record he currently shares with Ric Flair (in WWE canon) and winning a 17th World Championship.
