WWE Superstar John Cena says fighting against the love of the fans was pointless following his heel run. John Cena shocked the wrestling world when he turned heel earlier this year at WWE Elimination Chamber.

Cena's run as a heel included fans booing and chanting against him at various venues during his retirement tour as he refused to give them what they wanted. Some loved it, but others hated it. He eventually switched things up, returning to his familiar babyface role and dropping the championship back to Rhodes to help pass the torch.
