Controversy temporarily stopped this year's San Francisco's Pride Parade. The parade route was blocked for almost an hour by protesters who chained themselves together and refused to leave.

The San Francisco Police Department says its officers will be the first in the nation to wear special patches during Pride Month in June.

The San Francisco Pride Celebration will take place Saturday and Sunday, and the Pride Parade will begin on Sunday morning.
