Prime Video has announced that it will be the new home for streaming Lionsgate movies in the US starting in 2026, and will also get a bunch of the studio's 2025 films. The movies will appear on Starz first, immediately after release, with Prime Video getting them exclusively in an "early window" just after that, according to Deadline.

Amazon’s Prime Video entered into a multiyear theatrical output agreement with Lionsgate, under which it will get an exclusive streaming window on the studio’s films starting with its 2026 slate after an initial run on Starz.

The agreement will see titles like ‘Now You See Me 3’ and ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ land on the streamer after leaving cinemas and Starz’s earlier exclusive first-run window.

Starting in 2026, Prime Video will also be able to select premium titles from Lionsgate’s catalog, including such premium franchises as John Wick, Twilight, Divergent, Saw and Emmy-winning TV series like Nurse Jackie and Weeds, among others.
