With the anticipation of the postseason building, the MLB announced the schedule for the 2025 playoffs on Tuesday. All four Wild Card series, which are a best-of-three format, will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 30, with Game 2 on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and a third game (if necessary) on Thursday, Oct. 2.

The World Series will end in November if it goes the full seven games, the result of a change to MLB's postseason scheduling approach since last year.
