A Legionnaires' disease outbreak in New York's Central Harlem neighborhood has now sickened 90 people and caused three deaths, health officials said Tuesday.

The cases are most likely linked to a cooling tower in central Harlem, health officials said. More than 60 people have fallen ill, including three people who have died, from Legionnaires’ disease in New York City over the past several weeks, according to the city’s health department.

Adults who have been in the affected area since late July with flu-like symptoms, fever, cough or difficulty breathing should seek immediate medical attention, health officials say.
