Microsoft will drop Gears of War Reloaded on August 28 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Cross-platform play and cross-progression will be supported. It will be on Game Pass at launch. Microsoft has yet to confirm that the next game, Gears of War: E-Day, will be cross-platform when it launches in 2026 as part of Xbox's 25th anniversary.

X box's new platform-first approach has seen a lot of exclusives migrate over to PlayStation. While not all Xbox fans are happy about this, it seems Microsoft has no plans to slow down. Iconic IPs like Gears of War: Reloaded will also be released on the PS5, and perhaps even the Nintendo Switch 2.

It's not much longer now for Gears of War: Reloaded to make its anticipated release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. As expected, you'll be able to play the game on day one thanks to Xbox Game Pass, but that's not the only game coming this August.
