Assisted living centers are rare in Mass, but many families still don’t know what they offer — or what they don’t.

A tenth victim has died following the Fall River fire at the Gabriel House Assisted Living Facility on Sunday, the Bristol County DA announced Thursday morning.

The city of Fall River on Thursday released six years' worth of fire inspection reports for the Gabriel House assisted living facility, where a fire earlier this week claimed the lives of 10 residents.

Brenda Cropper, 66, had been hospitalized in critical condition for several days. She was the 10th person killed in the Fall River fire.
