Iconic ESPN men's college basketball announcer Dick Vitale, 85, announced Tuesday he is cancer-free again following his fourth bout since 2021.

The longtime ESPN broadcaster was first diagnosed with melanoma in 2021. He was also diagnosed with lymphoma, which he also beat. Then, in July 2023, Vitale was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer. Nearly a year later, Vitale shared that a lymph node in his neck turned out to be cancerous.

Legendary college basketball announcer Dick Vitale is cancer-free. Vitale announced the news in a video posted on social media, saying the news "brought me to tears" when his doctors said his scan and bloodwork came back clean.
