On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Eagles traded safety C.J. Gardern-Johnson to the Houston Texans for guard Kenyon Green. The Eagles also swapped draft picks; Philly received a 2026 fifth-round pick, while Houston received a 2026 sixth-rounder.

As the NFL’s legal tampering period of free agency rolled on to its second day on Tuesday, the Houston Texans continued to be active on the trade market. Houston acquired safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and a 2026 sixth-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for guard Kenyon Green and a 2026 fifth rounder.

The Eagles are getting back guard Kenyon Green, Houston's first-round pick in 2022 who started nine of 12 games last season. In addition, the Eagles are sending Houston a sixth-round pick in 2026 and getting back the Texans' fifth-round pick in 2026.
