The third time's the charm. The New York Knicks finally took down the Chicago Bulls in another dramatic, close showdown against their Eastern Conference rival.

At the NBPA’s annual winter meeting, Towns and Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent were elected as the newest Vice Presidents, while Jaylen Brown was re-elected for a third term. They replace Malcolm Brogdon and Bismack Biyombo, who stepped down after their second terms. Their three-year terms commence immediately.

It was another strong showing from the Knicks' star big man Karl-Anthony Towns, who had a dominating performance, with 32 points and 18 rebounds in his 43 minutes on the floor, leading the entire game in points and continuing his recent hot hand.

Even with Josh Hart added to the street-clothes crew with a knee injury, they kicked off their final stretch of 28 regular-season games by pulling out a gritty, 113-111, overtime decision.
