Sometimes when I read the Bible ... storm ceased. Jonah found himself in the storm-tossed sea with weeds wrapped around his head. And worse yet, he was swallowed up by a big fish.

The biblical story of Jonah has always seemed rather fantastical; after all, who could survive in the belly of a whale ... but in the bible, the whale was definitely trying to tell Jonah something.
