The Seattle Seahawks traded Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders last week, and it sounds like the decision to trade him was influenced by the two sides not being able to agree on a new deal for the quarterback.

Geno Smith is a Raider. Las Vegas made their acquisition of Smith official on Thursday after they traded a third round pick for the former Mountaineer last week. Seattle trading Smith came following continuous comments from Seahawks general manager John Schneider about Smith being his starter.
