At 4:59 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a flood advisory in effect until 4:45 p.m. for Josephine County.
The rain, coupled with rivers and streams that still have ice jam concerns, could cause flooding where ice jams do happen on Pittsburgh-area waterways.
So far this season, nearly 20 locations are experiencing their driest winter on record, with over 200 locations seeing their top 10 driest on record.
