Shuttle buses transported CTA passengers between Yellow Line stations while service was suspended; service was restored shortly after 5 p.m.

A person was struck and killed by a CTA Yellow Line train on Thursday afternoon in north suburban Skokie.

CTA Yellow Line services have since resumed.
