Tuesday followed the theme for UConn baseball, as it’s been two steps forward, one step back. The Huskies had a strong weekend, sweeping UNC Greensboro, but Boston College took them to the woodshed on Tuesday, 18-6, at Elliot Ballpark in a game that was shortened by the run rule to eight innings.
