The 2025 rankings for best graduate schools in several disciplines were released on Tuesday, April 8, and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor was ranked at No. 11 in engineering. The Ann Arbor engineering school fell two spots from its previous rank last year. However, it was the only Michigan university’s engineering school to make the top 50.

U.S. News and World Report released its annual ranking of the best graduate engineering schools in the country, and while institutions like MIT and Stanford unsurprisingly topped the list, the top Colorado school may not be the expected choice.
