Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah met with reporters on Wednesday afternoon to recap a two-week stretch of free agency where the team made more than $300 million of contract commitments and revamped both lines of scrimmage.

In his first comments about J.J. McCarthy’s spot in the quarterback depth chart in Minnesota, general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah told reporters that “the outcome we want” is for McCarthy to be the starting QB.

Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah admitted that the team had internal discussions about signing Aaron Rodgers, with HC Kevin O'Connell still talking to the quarterback.
