Sunita Williams, one of the NASA astronauts stuck in space, ventured out to conduct essential maintenance tasks on the International Space Station (ISS).

NASA astronaut Sunita Williams has successfully completed her eighth spacewalk, bringing her total extravehicular activity (EVA) time to nearly 57 hours. The six-hour EVA was conducted on January 16 with fellow astronaut Nick Hague. The duo stepped outside the International Space Station (ISS) to conduct critical repairs and upgrades.

Sunita Williams, NASA astronaut and International Space Station (ISS) commander, conducted her first spacewalk in 2025 performing vital maintenance and upgrades on the ISS.  Williams, teamed up with fellow NASA astronaut Nick Hague to carry out much-needed outdoor repairs.
