The suspected gunman who opened fire outside a resort and casino in Nevada on Monday, killing three people, has died, police said on Thursday, police said.

Police have identified the three people who were killed during shootings Monday outside a Reno casino, as well as the suspect. The suspect is Dakota Hawver, a 26-year-old Reno resident, who remains in critical condition in a hospital after Reno police officers shot him during an exchange of gunfire,

Two of three victims fatally shot were at the casino for a bachelor party, police said. The third victim was driving in the casino's parking lot.
