Over 15,000 Eversource customers in Connecticut are still without power after a snowstorm followed by harsh winds bombarded the state.

Along with tens of thousands of power outages caused by the storm and subsequent high winds, an IT outage affected multiple Connecticut agencies.

Eversource reported that 13,000 customers were still impacted by outages Monday morning following the weekend’s snowstorm. Nearly 1,200 United Illuminating customers were impacted. Residents woke up to thick amounts of ice Sunday morning.
