A tornado with wind speeds of up to 95 mph has been confirmed to have hit Clark Mills during the early morning storms, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Binghamton. Chris Kimvle, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis, said they can look at pictures and videos to confirm a tornado, but if it’s not clear, they have to send someone out to survey damage and assess the track and strength of the tornado.
