Meadville-Unionville basketball fans involved in fight at playoff game charged by police
Four adults and three teenagers are facing charges for their accused actions in a fight that broke out during a high school basketball playoff game on Friday. The fight in the Meadville Area Senior High gymnasium broke out during a game between Meadville and Uniontown with about three minutes left in the fourth quarter after a technical foul was called on a Uniontown player.

The City of Meadville Police Department announced they’ve charged seven people, including students, for their actions during a massive brawl that broke out at a high school basketball game between Meadville Area High School and Uniontown Area High School.

Reginald Grooms, 44, of Uniontown has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct; Notorious Grooms, 18, of Uniontown has been charged with disorderly conduct; Meadville resident Malik Wilson, 25, is facing a disorderly conduct charge; and Joseph Chabot, 37 of Meadville has been charged with disorderly conduct.
