Little League teams from around the globe entered Williamsport, aiming to become the 2025 World Series champions, and the action continues on Saturday.

CLARENDON HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- A Clarendon Hills baseball team won a game Saturday in the Little League World Series tournament. The local Little League team is representing the Great Lakes region. They defeated the Mid-Atlantic team with a score of 3-2.

The Richmond Little Leaguers scored two runs in the first inning, but weren't able to overcome four fielding errors.

A Braintree baseball team got a special shout out from the Red Sox before their first game in the Little League World Series.

Braintree American, with its spotless record, begins play in Williamsport, Pa., on Thursday against Irmo, S.C. at 3 p.m. on ESPN.
