WASHINGTON, DC (ANI) – The National Sheriffs’ Association has endorsed Kash Patel as the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee leaders that also railed against the state of law enforcement under the Biden administration.

Patel has even claimed that the January 6th defendants have been denied “exculpatory evidence” tying Epps to the FBI. In that interview posted on the Fight With Kash channel, Patel said “what’s happening” to the “Jan. 6th defendants and detainees” is “the most unconstitutional thing I’ve ever seen in terms of denial of due process.” He continued:

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said Kash Patel, who was tapped as President-elect Trump’s nominee to lead the FBI, should not be confirmed by the Senate. Schiff joined NBC News’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday,

Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, Schiff pointed to the New Orleans terrorist attack on New Year’s Eve and the Jan. 6 riot in 2021 as evidence that Patel is unqualified for the high-level post since his “top priority [is] political vendettas,” not going after crime and terrorism more generally.
